Who I Am
Gail Reams
My name is Gail Reams. I am the owner and founder of Reams College Consulting. I have been helping students with the College Admissions Process for over 10 years. I have a B.A. in English from Duke University and an M.A. in English from UNC-G. I have helped dozens of students be admitted to the college of their choice including Duke University, the University of North Carolina, University of Florida, Dartmouth, Brown, UCLA, Tulane, Davidson, etc.
What I can do for you
I do an initial consultation with the parents and students, providing them with a packet of information and a “to do list.” I touch base with the student weekly with phone calls at a mutually agreeable time, so they accomplish their goals on a weekly basis, and, therefore, they do not get overwhelmed with all there is to do. I help them with revisions of answers to questions on the Common App. I edit all their answers as well as their essays to see that they are well-organized, have powerful vocabulary, and have correct grammar and spelling. I taught high school and college English, so I am well qualified to help students improve their essays and grammar.
